Event description

Join Kristina, Kate and Julie for a transformative afternoon experience exploring the power of sacred sound and ritual. This immersive workshop weaves together Voice ActivationKirtan, Vedic Chanting, and Nyasam, guiding you into a deeply resonant space of devotion, healing, and spiritual alignment. Through sound, movement, and sacred gestures, we will cultivate an atmosphere of inner stillness and embodied prayer, reconnecting with the timeless wisdom of ancient traditions.  We will conclude with a gentle Sound Bath.

This experience is open to all, whether you are new to these practices or seeking to deepen your existing connection to sacred sound.

What to Expect

Voice Activation - Warm up with a series of exercises strengthening the connection with the self.

Kirtan – The practice of call-and-response devotional singing, opening the heart through mantra and melody. Accompanied by harmonium and drum, Kirtan invites deep participation and surrender into divine presence.

Vedic Chanting – A guided exploration of Sanskrit mantra. These sacred recitations have been passed down through oral tradition for millennia, invoking clarity, protection, and spiritual attunement.

Nyasam – The art of placing sacred sound upon the body, using mantra and mudra (hand gestures) to infuse different energy centers with intention. Nyasam cultivates a profound experience of embodiment, aligning voice, breath, and soul.

Sound Bath - We will conclude the afternoon with a sound bath.  Lying down, you will be bathed in a variety of healing sounds.

Ritual & Sacred Space – We will open and close the gathering with simple yet potent ceremonial elements, honoring the unseen forces that guide and hold us.

Come ready to listen, chant and receive as we journey into the living current of sound as sacred offering.
