Event description

In a culture that often equates sensuality with sexuality, many of us have lost the simple pleasure of just being in our bodies. Over time, we learn to shrink, suppress, or shield our pleasure—sometimes to protect others from discomfort or judgment, and sometimes to protect ourselves from being misunderstood, objectified, or unsafe.

The Labs are an invitation, to gently reclaim your felt sense of aliveness, and to re-inhabit your body with curiosity, tenderness, and joy. We will explore sensuality as a way of being more fully alive—not as something sexual, but as a deeper presence in your body, your emotions, your connection with others and the space around you.

This 4-week immersive series is designed to help you soften inhibition, express yourself more freely, and develop a deeper connection to your energy, your senses, and the present moment.

We’ll explore through, movement, stillness, sound, non-sexual physical contact, witnessing, and the shared presence of the moment, learning to listen not just to each other—but to the whole space and experience we are receiving and creating together.

Levels of Participation:

You’re invited to participate or simply observe. Sometimes, witnessing can be just as powerful as engaging.

If you feel anxious at the thought of joining—this space is made for you. Don’t miss the opportunity for a breakthrough. Often the very thing we resist is what brings us home to ourselves.

If you’re already well-practiced in the art of intimacy, this is your chance to deepen your embodiment and add nuance to your attunement in a shared field with others.

These Labs Are Designed to Help You:

✔️ Develop tools for authentic connection with yourself and others

✔️ Feel more comfortable in your body and in relationship to the world around you

✔️ Deepen your connection to your senses

✔️ Experience pleasure as a full-body, full-life experience

✔️ Embody sensuality without it being performative or sexual

*****Important Details:

Please arrive 5 - 10 minutes early (or plan to arrive earlier if you are someone who tends to run late.)

We begin and end right on time to honor the container we’re creating together. Once we start, the doors will close to protect the energy and focus of the group experience.

Wear non-binding clothing that allows you to move freely.

We will be sitting on the floor but there are chairs available if need be. Feel free to bring a seat cushion or any other accessory that will help you settle in.

It's best to arrive not too hungry and not too full. Please do not take any mind altering substances beforehand.

While you’re welcome to attend a single session, deeper transformation happens with consistency.

Sensuality begins as a concept in the mind—but it becomes realized through the body. It takes practice to soften, to feel, to stay present. The more often we drop in together, the more comfortable it becomes.

Your continued presence not only supports your own journey—it also strengthens the group field, allowing everyone to go deeper.

This is a Qi Haus Foundation event

Qi Haus (pronounced chee house) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping us reconnect with the subtle, invisible energies of life—through sensorial awareness, emotional presence, and collective attunement.

Lil’ bonus —  The labs are held at a beautiful tango studio which holds Argentinian tango class and Milonga on Tuesdays, right after the workshop.

Tango is one of the most elegant ways to practice attunement, presence, and pleasurable coordination with others. I highly recommend the studio—and Kelly Ray, the teacher, is truly excellent. Tuesday May 13th there will be a special tango event, so please consider staying and making a night of the experience!
BYO friendly, if you feel called.
