CONSUMER PERCEPTIONS OF RETAIL TECHNOLOGY IN AUSTRALIA

A deep dive into Australians' trust in retail technology, their biggest concerns, and the value retailers must provide to shape the future of retail tech in 2024 and beyond.

This year has been named the “Year of AI,” indicating a substantial shift in how organisations operate as they transition from experimenting with technologies to fully using its capabilities in day-to-day operations. However, this technological leap forward brings both opportunities and challenges for businesses. Join us for a thought-provoking panel discussion with some of the brightest minds, where we will explore how technology can build better relationships with customers and provide strategies for the future. We will discuss whether consumers are truly keeping pace with these innovative retail technologies while also examining the critical issue of consumer trust.

This event is designed to do more than just spotlight problems – it will also showcase creative solutions and practical strategies that bridge the gap between innovative technology and consumer trust. The expert panel, Chaired by the Cisco Chair in Trusted Retail, Dr Nadine Ostern, includes Bree Johnstone, Ben Youl, Graeme Hughes and André Korte. Each will offer valuable insights and strategies for stakeholders on how to compete on trust while preparing for the technological trends of 2025, 2030, and beyond. Prof Michael Rosemann, Director of QUT's Centre for Future Enterprise and Terry Weber, Regional Manager of Qld, NT and PNG, Cisco, will also be speaking.

    Why Attend?

This session is more than just a discussion—it’s an opportunity to gain deep insights into trust and explore forward-thinking perspectives on the future of retail technology.
