The Expansion Breathwork Experience is a return to what’s already whole—through breath, stillness, and the expansion of self awareness.

Held as part of the World Breathing Day weekend series, this session invites you to slow down and reconnect—celebrating your breath as the most powerful tool for presence, regulation, and renewal.

This 3-hour workshop is your gateway into the power of conscious connected breathing. It’s a space to pause, reflect, and rediscover your natural state—beneath the stress, the stories, and the survival patterns that override your nervous system.

Each session is intuitively shaped to meet the energy of the group—exploring themes like emotional integration, nervous system navigation, and energy alignment. You’ll be guided through a blend of somatic education, breathing techniques, and an all-levels Breathwork process designed to reconnect you with your natural rhythm and inner clarity.

Whether you’re new to Breathwork or seeking to meet yourself in a more honest and embodied way, this experience offers a grounded, accessible space to soften tension, reset your system, and feel into what’s possible.

You don’t need a peak experience to feel your power—just a safe space to be with what’s real.

About Mark Moon

Mark Moon is a Breathwork and wellness guide committed to holistic wellbeing and conscious personal growth. As an executive member of the Australian Breathwork Association and a globally registered practitioner with the GPBA, Mark brings integrity, safety, and deep experience to every session.

With a background in movement, yoga, Breathwork, and somatic healing, Mark blends science, psychology, and spiritual insight to create grounded, transformational experiences. His approach honors the body’s innate wisdom—supporting emotional resilience, nervous system regulation, and the expansion of awareness.

Mark is known for his depth, compassion, and presence. Whether in group settings or private sessions, he creates safe and empowering spaces for individuals to explore who they are beyond the stories—guiding them back to what’s already whole.

WHAT TO BRING

By bringing these items, you’ll be well-prepared to dive into the transformative experience.

  • Please bring a yoga mat or something comfortable to lie on. Maybe a small pillow or cushion.
  • Blanket and socks are recommended if you tend to feel cold. This will help keep you cosy and relaxed throughout the session.
  • Wear clothing that is comfortable and allows for easy movement. You’ll want to feel unrestricted as you explore different techniques.
  • Journal for reflection. It’s great to jot down any insights, revelations, or moments of clarity that may arise during the workshop.

PREPARATION

  • Have an empty stomach and avoid coffee or other stimulants on the day of the event. Have a light meal or snack 2 hours before if needed.
  • Be alcohol and substance-free as this work will produce emotional releases and non-ordinary states of consciousness and awareness.
  • Come with an open mind and allow the magic of Breathwork and the power of universal prana to work their wonders.

Breathwork is a powerful healing modality and although usually safe, deeply relaxing, and enjoyable, it can result in physiological changes that may produce a mild altered state of consciousness with physical and/or emotional release. It is each participant’s responsibility to listen to their body and look after their own well-being. Be mindful of your own capabilities and act accordingly.

Please be aware that sessions can produce tingling of the hands, face, or feet, and emotional experiences like crying, laughing, or screaming due to excessive energy moving through your body.

As a precaution, the following conditions are contraindicated for anyone thinking of practising this style of Breathwork: recent surgery, pregnancy, detached retina or glaucoma, uncontrolled high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, history of aneurysms, uncontrolled thyroid conditions, diabetes, respiratory issues, asthma, epilepsy, or seizures.
