Upcycle Fashion Lab + Reclaimed Fabric + All Well Box Top Pattern = A fashion item you make for yourself that makes the world a better place :)

In this Upcycle Fashion Lab you’ll make a box top, a zero waste fashion staple, using reclaimed fabric you already have, or thrifted fabric you find, giving a new life to old items.

What we’re teaching: :

  • fabric identification & how to select reclaimed textiles
  • accurate measurements for sewing a garment
  • how to read and use a flat pattern, garment construction and finishing.

The class will use The All Well Box Top pattern( pattern provided). This is a timeless, foundational sewing pattern adapted to fit chest circumference 32' to 62'. The pattern is designed for the beginner to make their very first garment or employ four distinct variations (sleeveless box top, long sleeve box top, ruffle top or a box dress) to challenge the seasoned sewist. The 2-session adult-focused class will give knowledge and confidence to continue the journey of rescued textiles and regenerated garments.
