Urchin is the passion project of Gabs and Annie - a husband and wife duo and two of Mongrel Bar & Kitchen's founders. While Mongrel dips its toes in to the vast world of Peruvian gastronomy from time to time, Gabs and Annie have always dreamed of having a cevicheria in Brisbane, matching the incredible freshness of cevicheria food with the sunny climate of Queensland. Urchin is a love letter to a home away from home, to family, to long afternoons in cevicheria beer gardens and to Peruvian cooking.

Taking over the space at Mongrel, Urchin will exist momentarily for the night of Sunday November 26th. Tickets are $115 per person, sold by tables of two or four. There are two time-slots for dinner, 6:00 or 7:00. You are more than welcome to come anytime from 5:30pm for drinks, but the menu will not be served earlier than your ticket time.
