Using ProteinDJ to design de novo protein binders
Workshop details
This workshop introduces ProteinDJ, a high-throughput protein design platform built with Nextflow, and demonstrates its application to de novo binder design. Participants will receive a brief overview of binder design principles and containerised workflows, followed by hands-on experience interacting with Nextflow and ProteinDJ via VS Code and the command line.
We will prepare an example target protein for binder design and examine how to curate generated designs using key metrics and filtering strategies. While there will not be time to run full design campaigns for individual targets, you will leave with the practical skills needed to set up and execute your own binder design runs.
Requirements: Access to M3 (mc12 project).
Only CCeMMP members/affiliates can attend.
Facilitator

Dr. Joshua Hardy (WEHI)
Dr Josh Hardy is an expert in structural biology, with a particular focus on single-particle cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM). He applies cryo-EM to investigate the three-dimensional structures of proteins, aiming to understand their roles in human health and how mutations can lead to disease.
