Victorian Candlelight Tour & Theatrical Reading (with Halloween Happy Hour)
Tour the Weyerhaeuser home by candlelight followed by a theatrical reading and the option to enjoy Halloween Happy Hour in the Musser Mansion. Guests can expect to:
Hear spooky tales of Victorian folklore
Participate in festive Halloween traditions
Learn about holiday celebrations in the early 1900s
View the exhibit featuring Wicked Witch of the West actress, Margaret Hamilton
Experience a theatrical reading of an Edgar Allen Poe classic by a costumed performer
Tour Tickets - $25/person
Timed entry tour tickets are available in limited quantities. Guided tours begin at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm and 8pm. Ticket includes admission to Halloween Happy Hour that will be ongoing between 4pm-9pm. Tour tickets must be reserved in advance to guarantee your preferred tour time. Walk-in guests will be admitted as space allows on a first come, first served basis.
Please note your selected tour time and arrive at the front door of the Weyerhaeuser (green) Mansion 5-minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. If you are planning to tour with a group of people, please be sure to purchase tickets for the same time to ensure you can be grouped together. Please call the office at 320-616-5580 for groups of 12 or more.
Happy Hour Only Tickets - $10/person
Skip the candlelight tour but still join the fun at Halloween Happy Hour in the Musser Mansion. Entry only tickets are available for $10/person and will be available in advance or at the doors of the Musser mansion.
Halloween Happy Hour
Happy hour will take place in the Musser (white) Mansion from 4pm-9pm with food and beverages available to order in the Parlor. The menu will feature spooky cocktails, ciders, seltzers and an assortment of craft beer from our local Starry-Eyed Brewery. Grazing boards, dip flights, pizza and other tasty items will accompany the festive drink lineup. Guests can mingle around the main floor and outdoor spaces throughout the evening. Costumes are encouraged!
Please note: This event is not handicap accessible. Guests must be able to navigate several flights of stairs in low lighting in order to participate in this activity. Some spooky Victorian-era folklore and superstitions will be shared, with content recommended for those ages 13 and older. Parents should use discretion and all guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Guests 21+ must present a valid ID to purchase alcoholic beverages.
