Event description

Welcome to Wattlebrush School of Bushcraft and Wizardry, where Hogwarts meets the Australian bush! Join us at Wattlebrush for a school holiday camp filled with hands-on Wizarding classes and outdoor adventures designed for young Wiz-kids aged 7-12.

Every day is a whirlwind of magic where Wiz-kids will brew potions, craft their own wands and broomsticks, dive into Quidditch, and practice hilarious wizard duels. But that’s just the beginning! Get ready for the ultimate Triwizard challenges—navigate fiery traps to claim the Dragon treasure, cool off in the splash-tastic Merfolk Water Battle, and conquer the twists and turns of the Nature Maze. Plus, discover your wizarding house and protect its honour all week long!

  • Dragon Egg Obstacle Course: 🐉 Test your agility and problem-solving to claim the treasure.
  • Merfolk Water Battle: 🌊 Team up with friends for a splash-tastic showdown and claim victory in this cool water challenge!
  • Nature Maze Building: 🌿 Sharpen your survival skills as you design and navigate an epic maze.
  • Wand Making: ✨Create your very own wand and learn about its unique magical properties.
  • Greenscreen Flying: ✈️ Experience the thrill of soaring through the air on your own broom and capture the moment on camera!
  • Quidditch Games: 🏆 Join in on the action with wizard-themed challenges and show off your bludger dodging skills!
  • Spellbinding Duels: ⚔️ After learning spells, put them to the test in friendly duels with your fellow wizards!
  • Tea Leaf Reading (Divination): 🔮 Dive into the mystical art of tea leaf reading and uncover what the future holds for you.

About us: Wattlebrush is about exploring the magic of your own backyard and making incredible childhood memories. Our activities are immersive, supportive and run by registered teachers. We’re all about supporting local families with magic school holiday care solutions.

What's included: A week at Wattlebrush is full of Wandering, Wondering and Wizardry! Every Wiz-kid takes home a personal foraging bag, spell book and biology wall poster graduation certificate.  Camp runs 8.30 - 3.30 Monday to Friday with activities starting officially at 9am. Every day is filled with Potions, Herbology and Bush craft with all materials provided.

What to bring: Food for the day, sun protection, and hydration. We definitely encourage you to bring all your favourite magical artifacts along.

Accessibility and safety: We'll send a comprehensive starter form to gather your child's comfort and safety requirements. For accessibility, students need to be able to climb the Scout Hall stairs with or without assistance. Many activities take place outdoors, so sun protection and weather-appropriate clothing are essential each day.
