White Tara Sadhana and Mantra Practice (Pre Long Life Puja)
Description
Dear Friends,
We are delighted to invite students to take part in a special offering for Geshe Doga’s Long Life Puja.
From 1 September, Tara Institute will offer students the opportunity to engage in a White Tara Sadhana practice throughout the month of September, leading up to Geshe-la’s Long Life Puja in October. As part of the practice, students are invited to accumulate the White Tara mantra. The total number of White Tara Mantras recited will be tallied and presented to Geshe-la as an offering for his continuing long and healthy life.
The White Tara Sadhana practice does not need to be done every day. You are welcome to practise whenever you have the opportunity and according to your own circumstances. Even a single session of practice can create an incredible amount of merit, and every contribution, however large or small, will become part of our collective offering.
If you don't have a copy of the White Tara Sadhana, click here. The White Tara mantra is included within the Sadhana, so you will find everything you need to participate in the practice.
This is a wonderful opportunity for us, as students, to come together in practice and express our gratitude for Geshe-la and all that he has given to us over so many years.
Geshe-la’s dedication to his students has remained unwavering. His teachings are profound, and his loving-kindness, wisdom and patience have touched and supported so many of us over the decades. Through this collective practice, we can offer something meaningful in return and dedicate our efforts to Geshe-la’s long life and continued benefit to others.
Please join us in this incredible opportunity to come together as a community and present Geshe-la with a combined offering of our practice and merit, dedicated to his long and healthy life.
If you would like to be part of this special offering, please email Kim SPC for further information and to register your participation.
