Crisis and Hope: Join us in conversation with Kgshak Akec (shortlisted for the Miles Franklin award for Hopeless Kingdom) and Margaret Hickey (Cutters End, Stone Town and Broken Bay). They will explore experiences of being radically unsettled by past crises, crimes and traumas that reverberate into the present. Join us for a discussion of the role of hope in motivating their writing and shaping their visions of place.
