where many stories create a place

Saturday 29 November | 10 am – 12 pm | Free Entry

Yirranma means “many create” — and this Open Day is your invitation to discover a space where community comes together with purpose, creativity and heart.


A Place for Everyone

Whether you’re a curious local, a family looking for Saturday fun, or someone seeking connection, Yirranma Place opens its doors to you.

This historic Darlinghurst church, now a social impact precinct, is home to purpose-driven organisations creating meaningful change — including Two Good Co., Burraga Foundation, Equality Australia, Youth Action, NCOSS, and Global Sisters — and for one special day, it becomes a living celebration of community, food, and social impact.

This year’s event proudly supports Twenty10, raising awareness and funds for their work creating safer futures for LGBTQIA+ youth.

  • Tenant panel discussions with Equality Australia, Youth Action, Two Good Co., Global Sisters, Smart Recovery and Burraga Foundation (topics and speakers to be announced)

  • Self-guided heritage tours through the building
