AI Tools Foundations for WA Professionals: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Copilot and Gemini
Description
Overview
AI can feel overwhelming when every tool, headline and expert seems to say something different.
This WA AI Hub session slows things down and makes the learning practical. It is for people who want to understand what to do next, what to avoid and how to use AI in a way that respects people, context and responsibility.
Together, we will explore choosing the right tool for the task through examples, discussion and hands-on activities. You do not need a technical background. You do need curiosity, a real question or task if you have one, and a willingness to think carefully about how AI should be used.
You will leave with tool-selection matrix, evidence-checking checklist and 30-day integration plan.
What you will do:
Work through practical, low-risk activities.
Learn how to make better AI-related decisions.
Apply a responsible integration checklist.
Create a usable course artefact.
Identify the next WA AI Hub pathway for your role or team.
Who Should Attend:
Professionals, SMEs, educators, public-sector staff, NFPs and AI-curious workers who need practical multi-tool confidence.
