The Youth MHFA course is based on guidelines developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems and professionals.

The course equips adults with the skills to recognise and respond to an adolescent who may be experiencing a mental health problem or crisis situation.

Using a practical, evidence-based action plan, Youth MHFA teaches participants how to support an adolescent until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves.

This is a 2 DAY training, participants MUST attend both days -

Saturday 10/8 - 8:30am - 4pm

Saturday 17/8 - 8:30am - 4pm

This course is open to any TAFE or University student, and anyone in their first year of their career in the education, justice, health care or community services sectors.

PLEASE NOTE - minimum 15 tickets need to be sold for the course to go ahead. If we don't meet that number, full refunds will be given.
