Event description

Are you between 12 and 18 years old and passionate about the environment? Or looking to earn some community service volunteering hours?

Join members of South Perth Youth Network (SPYN) to help plant new seedlings around Neil McDougall Park in Como.

All equipment and morning tea is provided. Volunteers will be given a briefing on the day by City of South Perth staff. Sausage sizzle lunch will be available after planting. 

Community service hours can be earned by participating in this event. Registration for this event is essential.

On the day:

  • Please meet by the McDougall Farm Community Garden at intersection of McDougall St and Clydesdale St

  • Bring a water bottle, wet weather gear and a hat.

  • Wear closed in shoes.

SPYN is a group of passionate and committed young people who want to make a difference in the community. SPYN organises local events, volunteering opportunities and meets regularly to discuss the issues that impact young people in the City of South Perth.

 If you are aged 12-25 and live, work, study, or have a club membership within the City of South Perth, you're eligible to become a part of SPYN.
