I look forward to seeing you all on Saturday 22th February 2025 for the next Zaidee’s Mad Cow Mud Run.

We feel your pain of the economy, so we have reduced all ticket by $10 from this years ticket prices to help you come support this event.

We will be offering Early Bird Ticket sale for 14 days only starting 1st August ending 14th August saving $10 a ticket for the 2025 event. All ticket will go on sale 1st August and end 22nd Feb at 12pm 2025.

The Zaidee's Mad Cow Mud Run is an obstacle course set out to challenge your overall limits! Compete by yourself or in a team to tackle Shepparton's quirkiest obstacle event.

Compete as an adult or as a kid in separate designated course routes designed to test your limits while having a great time along the way!

This event is held at Kidstown Midland Highway Mooroopna.

2025 event is capped at 475 tickets only.

This event will start and finish on the Kids obstacle course as we are not allowed to use some of the land that is normally uses for past event which is at the back of kidstown this now makes the course a tad shorter for all.

Reason is this is now defined as cultural sensitive land not able to be used for this type of event.

Adults start time is 8am Kids 8.45am.

Adults wanting to run with kids aged 5-12 can purchase a $20 ticket and run in the designated wave time and you will get a medal. Please select Adult Companion when booking.

Parents with 3 and 4 year old can run free at this event and will get a medal medal this is capped at 30 tickets only.

Children with special needs have a time of 10.35am to run with a helper or adult, but you purchase a ticket in which ever age group you fall under.

The event is owned and managed by Zaidee's Rainbow Foundation, which aims to increase awareness about organ and tissue donation. 100% of all profits from Mad Cow Mud Run event go towards Zaidee's Rainbow Foundation. Foundation!

Ticket price includes entrance, parking on site is free, and bag drop is a $2 gold coin donation on the day.

There are a number of great spots along the course for spectators to come along, support your friends & family, and take as many pictures as you want!

PLEASE NOTE - We have the right to adjust the wave times due prior to the day due to extreme weather if we see it is going to be a hot day - as we did for our 2019 event - we will try and get everyone off early to avoid the heat.

Bag Drop - Gold Coin for Bad Drop - this is the building near the start line.

Parking is free at this event and lot of it.

First Aid is on site from start to end of this event.

Spectators are allows to roam the course but we ask you don't cross the ropes where the runners run.

We will have just two water station around the course for runners. We kindly ask spectator to bring you own water.

Training - always suggest you do a little bit before your take on this course for both adults and children.

Cloths - do not wear your best runners or other cloths as they will get wet dirty and maybe damage around the course. If you have run the event before you know what I am talking about.

Merchandise - Zaidee will have a tent up with all out Zaidee's products for purchase on the day.

Zaidee Rose Alexander Turner – aged 7 years and 22 days died suddenly on 2nd December 2004 from a burst blood vessel in her brain called a Cerebral Aneurism. Zaidee’s parents, Kim and Allan, founded Zaidee’s Rainbow Foundation not long after. At the time of Zaidee’s death the Turner family had been registered Organ and Tissue Donors for 5 years. As a result Zaidee donated her Organs and Tissues at the Royal Children’s Hospital, as were her wishes at the time. From this gift, the lives of up to seven other people were improved or saved. Zaidee was the only child in Victoria under the age of 16 years and we have been told one of the youngest Australians to donate her organs and tissues in 2004. She was only 1 of 6 children nationally to donate their organs. Zaidee’s Story is directed towards both children and adults so they can think about others who are waiting for a life saving operation and a suitable match for an organ or tissue. Think about giving this gift to others so they can live a better life and in some cases, have a second chance at life. Zaidee’s gift of her organs to others will allow them to have another birthday. 1 in 5 people on the transplant waiting list mwill never get the chance to have another birthday if people do not become registered donors. The symbol is representative of hope; after every storm the sun shines and there is a rainbow. For those people on the transplant waiting list, the rainbow symbol offers them hope. At the end of their rainbow is an organ or tissue to improve their life – or in most cases – save their life.
