Corals' Last Stand Film Screening (Uniting Church in the City)
Event description
Scott Reef is a remote coral atoll off Western Australia, home to an incredible diversity of marine life – from pygmy blue whales, turtles to vibrant coral gardens. But Woodside wants to drill for gas and dump carbon pollution under the ocean, threatening this fragile ecosystem and the global climate.
Coral’s Last Stand, featuring AMCS Patron Tim Winton, tells the story of Scott Reef – its beauty, its importance, and the urgent campaign to save it.
This screening comes at a critical time in the environmental approvals process.
Parking will be available in the Wesley Church Underground Carpark, entry off Wolf Lane (Murray Street).
