Corals' Last Stand
Description
🐢Healthy oceans. Healthy planet. Our future.
Join us for a special community screening of Coral’s Last Stand, a powerful 30-minute film highlighting the fight to protect Scott Reef and the future of our oceans.
Follow Tim Winton and John Butler as they bring attention to the threat of oil and gas drilling around Scott Reef, one of Australia’s remarkable marine ecosystems. Home to an incredible diversity of marine life, including corals, green turtles, sea snakes and migrating pygmy whales, Scott Reef is a precious natural treasure worth protecting.
🌊 Why attend?
This is more than just a film screening — it’s an opportunity to connect with like-minded locals, learn more about the threats facing our oceans, and be part of a growing community standing up for our environment.
Come along, enjoy a game of barefoot bowls, watch an inspiring film and discover how we can take action together to help protect Scott Reef and our marine life.
🌏 Be part of the solution!
Following the film, we'll invite attendees to take action by signing a Save Scott Reef postcard and showing their support for protecting our oceans.
Bring your friends, family and passion for the environment. Whether you're concerned about marine conservation or simply want to learn more, everyone is welcome.
