Three local bands who are linked by their love of Mario Kart. Expect originals, covers and crossover songs.

Corduroy Company are an indie-folk band performing on Ngunnawal and Ngambri country. With songs about imagination, love, identity, and getting enough iron in your diet, their playful lyrics and thoughtful band arrangements create an infectious live energy.

between bread is a bunch of friends from music school having a crack at some tunes they like to listen to. Led by Ruben (keys/vocals), they’ll try their best to keep bad puns to a minimum as they combine buttery basslines, meaty grooves and crunchy chords into something sandwich-adjacent.

Stonebird was formed over the last six months by Chris Thwaite (drums/percussion) and Fiona Bolton (keys/vocals). Both share mild obsessions with jazz-adjacent tunes, polyrhythms, nature observations, tangential conversations and solving mysteries.
