Join Gift of Bread for a unique corporate experience that connects teams through hands-on volunteering, learning, and shared purpose. Together, participants help rescue surplus bread that would otherwise go to waste and redistribute it to communities across Greater Sydney.
Hosted at our Community Workshop in Tempe, the day combines practical volunteering, storytelling, and shared meals to build connection within teams while supporting people in need.
More than a volunteer day, this is a structured and facilitated experience that strengthens teamwork, deepens understanding of food insecurity, and demonstrates real social impact in action.

Corporate Contribution
Your contribution supports the coordination and delivery of the experience, including facilitation, hospitality, volunteer supervision, and Gift of Bread’s ongoing food rescue and community support programs.

- What does the Corporate Social Impact Experience involve?
This full-day experience combines hands-on volunteering, hospitality, and learning. Participants help support Gift of Bread’s food rescue operations while learning about food waste, community need, and the impact of our work across Greater Sydney.
- What time does the experience run?
The experience runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

- How many people can attend?
Each booking includes up to 8 participants from the same organisation.

- What is included in the contribution?
The Corporate Contribution includes:
Full-day facilitated experience
Workplace health and safety induction
Morning refreshments
Shared hospitality lunch
Volunteer supervision and training
Bread hamper for each participant
It also helps support Gift of Bread’s ongoing food rescue and community support programs.
- Do participants need prior experience?
No. All training and guidance are provided on the day.
- Is the volunteering physically demanding?
Some activities involve standing, walking, sorting bread, and light manual handling. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and enclosed footwear.
- Can dietary requirements be accommodated?
Yes. Dietary requirements can be provided prior to the event and we will do our best to accommodate them.
- Do we need to provide participant names when booking?
No. Participant details can be provided closer to the event date.
- Is photography or media participation compulsory?
No. Participants will have the opportunity to advise if they do not wish to appear in photographs or other promotional material.
- What happens after we book?
Once your booking is confirmed, we will provide a welcome email with arrival details, parking information, participant requirements, and any information needed before the day.
