Cosmetic Workshop — Learn & Create Your Own Natural Skincare

Join us for a creative, social workshop where science meets skincare! Discover the science behind cosmetic formulation, learn how to choose ingredients that suit your skin, and create three personalised beauty products to take home.

Designed and led by pharmacist and formulation development scientist Ana Cebolla Gil. With eight years of experience, this workshop makes science accessible, engaging and fun. No previous experience in chemistry or cosmetic making is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to try something new.

You’ll create three personalised products:

• Vitamin C & Aloe Vera Day Cream – a moisturiser designed for daytime use.

• Korean Glass Skin Night Serum – featuring niacinamide, panthenol, centella asiatica and hyaluronic acid.

• Your Own Signature Lipstick – experiment with colour and create a shade that feels uniquely yours.

Working as we would in a small formulation laboratory, you’ll weigh ingredients, prepare formulations and explore the science behind each product. Learn why ingredients are chosen, how they work together, and how to understand cosmetic ingredient lists, including relevant evidence and safety considerations.

You’ll also gain a better understanding of your skin’s needs and how to choose products that suit your skin type, age and lifestyle. The aim is to help you feel more confident building a simple, effective skincare routine without needing endless steps or products.

All three formulations are 100% vegan, with an emphasis on ingredients of natural origin. All ingredients, equipment, protective gear and educational materials are provided, and you’ll take home your three creations along with useful notes on formulations, ingredient functions, skincare routines, and product storage and use.

Above all, this is an opportunity to take some time for yourself, get creative, learn something new and connect with others in a relaxed, hands-on environment.
