What is Somatic Dance?

This Somatic Dance experience is held within a reverential setting, providing a place to express, explore and move for exploration. It is a space to gather to reclaim the joy, healing and freedom that dancing brings, in a non-judgmental space. No matter your level of expertise, this is an inclusive space that welcomes everyone to explore and discover at your own pace. Every aspect of the experience is offered as an invitation, honoring your individuality and autonomy.

Our guidelines remain simple and supportive: refrain from consuming alcohol, remove your shoes, and keep your phones aside. Instead, immerse yourself in the power of great music and join our epic tribe as we come together to dance.

There are no set moves, there is no right or wrong steps, simply a space to move and be free as you explore your physical, emotional and energetic body. This dance is not about adhering to rules. It's about embracing the freedom to release yourself to the music and let go of that nagging judging mind. Trust yourself, trust the journey, and allow the dance to unfold naturally.

The invitation is open to all. Bring your curiosity, a water bottle and wear layers to shed.

About Natasha Mason - Natasha journey is a beautiful odyssey of self-discovery and soulful connection. She’s a gifted creator of somatic sacred space and a ritual romancer, weaving the threads of this ancient medicine to guide transformative music journeys, allowing you to rediscover your divine essence.
With a heart enriched by 300 hours of somatic dance training under the guidance of Sarsha Hope and Stephen Blase, Natasha has become a true steward of embodied expression. Since 2022, she has artfully led over 20 somatic dance and vinyasa yoga journeys, each a tapestry of movement, sound, and spirit.

Laurie Silver brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the somatic landscape with her deep understanding of energetics and years of teaching body-mind-spirit practices.
Laurie's passion for Somatic Dance has seen her in roles as a student, recently completing Level 2 Somatic Dance Teacher Training with Sarsha Hope, and as an assistant, supporting other students and the teaching team on those trainings.
Laurie continues to offer weekly classes with Soma & Soul, honing her skills as a somatic dance facilitator and soundscape curator.
