Circle of Security Parenting Program
Event description
Circle of Security ParentingTM is an internationally recognised program that offers carers an understanding of the complexity of the attachment system and how it contributes to infants and toddlers developing a sense of security and competence.
COSP certified facilitator Janette Fletcher will travel to Ravensthorpe weekly for eight weeks to work with parents and care-givers to help them to:
- Understand their child’s emotional world by learning to read emotional needs
- Support their child’s ability to successfully manage emotions
- Enhance the development of their child's self esteem
- Honour the innate wisdom and desire for their child to be secure
Along with COSP certification, Janette is a qualified and registered nurse, midwife and child health nurse
A crèche will be provided at all 8 sessions to ensure participants can fully focus on the course content. Alternatively, if your child(ren) attend(s) The Cub House the cost of a half day of care can be covered where funding permits.
