Cosplay Sketch Club Sunday 26 JULY

Please Note: This month, soda.straw will be away exhibiting at a convention in Hong Kong, so there will be no drawing demonstrations or tuition.

Instead, the session will run as a dedicated life drawing practice, with two or three cosplay models posing throughout the class. It's a great opportunity to enjoy uninterrupted drawing time and focus on developing your observational skills in a relaxed studio environment.

Cosplay Life Drawing – Sketch Club by the Seaside, Manly Library
1:00pm – 3:30pm

A practice-based life drawing session for illustrators and anime artists, featuring cosplay models in a series of dynamic, action-inspired poses from anime and gaming.

This is an untutored session offering 2 hours of uninterrupted drawing time with a 30 minute break at half time. The session begins with warm-up poses of 30 seconds, 2 minutes and 5 minutes, followed by a series of 10-minute poses, allowing artists to develop more detailed studies.

Suitable for all skill levels, this session is particularly well suited to intermediate and advanced artists and illustrators looking to practice, refine and strengthen their observational drawing skills in a focused studio environment.
