Each year Cotton Australia hosts the Australian Cotton Industry Awards.
One of the key awards is the Bayer Australian Cotton Grower of the Year.
A feature of the Cotton Grower of the Year Award is that the awardee, with the support of the cotton industry, hosts a field day early in the next calendar year.
Join us at Merrilong Agricultural Company as Hugh and Jock Brownhill and cousins Oscar and Archie Brownhill host the 2026 Australian Cotton Grower of the Year Field Day.

Bus pick-up locations & times
Tamworth – 7am from McDonalds Tamworth, corner of Roderick St and Marius St Coonabarabran - 7:15am from Coonabarabran Memorial Swimming Pool, Corner of Edwards St and Newell Highway. Willow Tree – 7:15am from Graze at Willow Tree, 18 New England Highway Gunnedah– 7:45am from McDonalds Gunnedah, Corner Conadilly and Elgin Streets Quirindi Bus – 7:45am from Best Western on Abbott St, Quirindi At 6pm buses will depart Merrilong Agriculture Company and drop guests back to these locations.
