Join WHISE for an evening to celebrate International Women's Day!
Doors open at 6PM with light refreshments and an opportunity to connect with old friends and make new ones, before entering into the event space at 6.30 PM.
We will delve into the 2024 UN Women's theme of economic empowerment. This event is not only a moment to recognise the achievements of women but also a call to action to address economic inequality and promote gender equality in our communities.
Discover the importance of funding for Victorian Women's Health Services and the broader women's health sector. Learn about economic inequality, including the gender pay gap, superannuation, and the gendered impact of the cost-of-living crisis.
We will also launch a comprehensive guide to assist organisations in evaluating their own gender pay gap, a valuable tool for those seeking to initiate positive change within their workplaces.
