Counting and Cracking + SAARI: The Community Lunch

Price FREE – $20 AUD + BF Get tickets

Event description

Join us to celebrate the opening weekend of the one of the biggest award-winning South Asian plays in Australia!

SAARI is proudly supporting South Asian artists and creatives alongside the Melbourne debut of the global hit play Counting and Cracking, written by Sri Lankan-Australian playwright S. Shakthidharan, as part of RISING.

Join the SAARI Collective community for a bring-a-plate community feast after the Wheeler Centre's panel celebrating Creativity in the Sri Lankan Diaspora (tickets here). Special guests at the lunch include: Playwright S. Shakthidharan, chef Manoli De Silva, and comedian Suren Jayemanne.

Bring your parents and family, bring a plate of food, or donate and join us for lunch like a Sri Lankan house party, complete with chai.

With limited free tickets, we hope you can join us at the University of Melbourne for this special community event.
