Join us on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024 with Mark Asbjerg as we learn invaluable insights into navigating Australia's evolving carbon landscape.

Topics for Mark's discussion:

1. The fundamentals of carbon emission reporting – giving a high-level overview of what emissions businesses typically measure, and how they go about measuring these emissions.

2. The evolution of carbon reporting for business in Australia – giving an overview of both mandatory reporting requirements for large emitters, as well as voluntary reporting standards that we are seeing emerging in the market.

3. Mandatory reporting includes the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Scheme (which has been in place since 2008) and the incoming Mandatory climate-related financial disclosures legislation which is currently in parliament.

4. Voluntary reporting standards include Climate Active and the Science-based Target Initiative.

5. The decarbonisation of the Australian energy markets – giving a high-level overview of how emissions from our National Electricity Market are expected to reduce over the coming decade.

Places are limited for the Lindfield office so please book early.
