Countrified Rides again (Again?!!)

After more than 40 days and 40 nights out of the loop Countrified are back!!! Riding high and singing tunes you might know and love in a countrified way.So, get on down for the hoedown at Can You Keep a Secret,  Woolloongabba, 3.30pm to 5.30pm Sat 14th of OCT

Countrified is a three-piece, acoustic band that has been making fun, high energy, loose, country style music since 2021. With the effervescent Maureen Hanson (from bands such as Miami, The Casuarinas) as lead vocals and general all round good vibes, Johnno Harrison (of Waiting for Brenda fame) on Dobro, slide guitar and banjo and Greg Eales (from Bird Dog Blue, One Track Pony) on acoustic guitar, shaker and backing vocals.

We mostly play at Art galleries and parties but we have also played a number of venues around town, including The Triffid, The Cave Inn, Can You Keep a Secret, It’s Still a Secret and The Blind Tiger Bar.

We do fun energetic cover versions of songs from artists such as Duran Duran, Taylor Swift, The Triffids, Big Star, Bruce Springsteen, AC/DC and many more!
