Meet Coupé Décalé, the joyful Ivorian dance music movement, at this special Sunday workshop in Nelson — the only Pay-What-You-Can workshop of Ivan Touko's six-week residency at Slava Doval's DanceFusion.

Led by Amôügįvan [Ivan Touko], the session moves from story to sweat:

5:30 – 6:00 PM — A brief history of Coupé Décalé + warm-up

6:00 – 7:00 PM — GROOVES! One song, on repeat: "Mélo Décalé"

Sunday, October 25, 2026, 5:30 to 7:00 PM

Civic Dance Centre, 719 Vernon Street, Suite 103, Nelson

Inside the Civic Centre. Look for the yellow door, to the right of Civic Theatre and left of Glacier Gymnastics.

Pay What You Can. Cost should not be the reason anyone misses this experience. No previous dance experience is needed. Beginners are warmly welcomed, all levels are invited, and you can move at your own pace. Come solo or bring a friend. Wear comfortable clothing and indoor shoes you can move in. Come curious, ready to listen, learn and move together.
