COURAGE TO CONNECT | The Woman Project × Circle of Courage

A day of courageous conversation, real stories, somatic practises, and meaningful connection for women growing themselves and their businesses.

Sunday 29 November 2026 | 10am - 4pm | Byron Bay

Your business asks you to be courageous.

To be seen. To make decisions. To back your ideas before you know how they’ll unfold.

And as your business evolves, you’re being invited to evolve with it.

Perhaps you’re ready to share your work more boldly, have a conversation you’ve been avoiding, trust your decisions or step into a new chapter of leadership.

You can SEE what’s possible for you. You can also FEEL where you’re holding back.

Courage to Connect is a day to explore that meeting point: the business you’re building and the woman you’re becoming.

The Woman Project and Circle of Courage are weaving together a full-day retreat experience of courageous stories, group coaching, somatic practises, partner work, meditation, nature, sacred stillness, facilitated connection and live acoustic music. You’ll also receive a nourishing lunch, high tea, cacao/tea ceremony and a take home goodie bag full of aligned sponsor gifts.

Hosted by Louise Walker and Barr Almog, this is space to reconnect with yourself, explore what your next chapter is asking of you, and build relationships with women who also understand the courage it takes to create something of your own.

Two communities. One shared intention.

The Woman Project brings women together to exchange ideas, build relationships and feel supported in their businesses. thewomanproject.au

Circle of Courage invites women to recognise what holds them back, connect with their courage and take bold, brave meaningful action. circleofcourage_events

Together, we’re creating a one day retreat experience that supports your growth as a business owner through honest self-inquiry, embodied experience and the wisdom of other women.

There will be depth, warmth, laughter and lots of room to integrate, time in nature to breathe and connect deeply with yourself. The day will include space to share what you’re excited about, name what feels challenging and name expansive possibilities for your business.

WHAT WE'LL EXPLORE

The courage to connect with yourself.
What do you want for your business now? What matters to you? Where are you over-riding yourself, seeking external approval or self-sabotaging by waiting for certainty or perfection?

The courage to connect with others.
What becomes possible when you let yourself be seen beyond your business introduction? When you share an idea, ask for support or speak honestly about where you are?

The courage to evolve.
What familiar way of thinking or reacting are you ready to question? How do you want to lead, communicate and make decisions in the next evolution of your business?

WHAT YOU'LL TAKE AWAY

The day is designed to help you leave with:

Greater clarity about your next chapter and what you want to give your energy to in your business.
A clearer understanding of a pattern that holds you back, with a new perspective or response to practise.
Simple somatic practices to help you pause, notice your body’s responses and reconnect with yourself before important conversations or decisions.
A stronger connection to your existing courage, grounded in moments when you’ve already trusted yourself and acted.
One specific courageous next step, supported by workshop handouts you can return to.
New relationships with women in business, with opportunities for continued conversation, support and collaboration.
A follow-up online integration gathering for all women who attend this event, to reflect on what you’ve put into practice and reconnect with the group.

Our intention is for you to leave feeling more connected to who you are, clearer about how you want to lead, and ready to act on something that matters.

THIS DAY IS FOR YOU IF...

You’re a business owner, entrepreneur, creative, coach, facilitator or practitioner who wants your personal growth to support your business growth.
You’re starting, expanding or changing direction and want space to hear yourself clearly.
You’re ready to become more visible, express your ideas or back your work more fully.
You notice overthinking, self-doubt or people-pleasing influencing your decisions.
You want meaningful relationships with women you can learn with, contribute to and grow alongside.

You don’t need experience in somatics or coaching, and you don’t need to arrive with everything figured out.

You’re welcome to participate at your own pace and choose what you share.
