Join acclaimed Aboriginal educator Aunty Trish Hill Wall and members of the Esperance community as we explore why racism is so pervasive and what it might take to overcome it.
This insightful workshop explores real-world issues and provides practical strategies for everyday people to combat racism and stand up for an inclusive community, where everyone gets a fair chance.
Topics covered include:
· What is Racism, and what allows it to continue?
· Types of discrimination and racist behaviours
· Practical tools to intervene in person and online
· Creating cultural safety at work and in the community
· Building confidence: practice key phrases and actions
· Community resources and support
Choose from three workshops tailored to different groups:
