This 90-minute online Zoom workshop will teach you practical stress-reduction and mindfulness exercises that you can use immediately. Chibs will provide coaching on identifying and managing COVID-related stress, particularly during the uncertainty of lockdown.

There will also be a practice-led 10-minute meditation session, with opportunities for participants to connect in break-out groups throughout the workshop.

Chibs is a stress and burnout specialist and an Accredited Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Facilitator who equips organisations, teams and individuals with tools to reduce and manage stress and burnout. A former CEO and Founder, Chibs used mindfulness as a tool to recover from his own work-related burnout.

The workshop costs $30. However, I understand that many of us have been hit financially in recent weeks, so if it is difficult for you to pay full price, you can choose a $15 ticket. If you cannot afford a $15 ticket, put in the code VIPLOCKDOWN when you reach the payment page and you will get 100% free access.

Learning Outcomes

  • You learn to employ simple tools to reduce the stress, uncertainty and negativity surrounding COVID and lockdown.
  • You will select your favourite tool from the workshop, and practice it regularly through the week, especially when challenges arise and you notice the emergence of stress, overwhelm or overthinking. Once you have integrated your tool, it will become second nature.
  • We discover that there are upsides and downsides to lockdown and working from home.
  • We learn to pay attention to and appreciate the 'positives' and put in measures to mitigate the effects of the 'negatives'.
  • We see that practising daily mindfulness meditation increases our base level of wellbeing and improves our resilience. When we are more resilient, we can be less reliant on our tools, and we don't have to bring out our tools as often.
