About this event

Western Sydney Local Health District and Westmead Hospital (ABN: 48 702 394 764) offer a CPR for baby and child first aid course with a Mandarin speaking educator, which you are invited to attend. CPR Kids run the course.

These sessions run for three hours, on a Sunday afternoon from 1:00 am to 4:15 pm. Classes are interactive, with many opportunities to ask questions throughout. Fully qualified Mandarin Speaking Paediatric Registered Nurses run this session.

We cater to up to 24 people in a course.

We know that what you do in the minutes before medical help arrives will impact the outcome of your child’s health. Our classes make you confident to manage an emergency situation with your child. Over three hours, our paediatric nurses share their years of experience with you. The entire class will get the chance to put evidence-based theory into practice on our lifelike baby and child CPR manikins. This means that you know not only what to do but also exactly how to do it because every second counts in an emergency.

Who will benefit from CPR Kids?

You may be about to become a mother or father for the first time or may already have small children. The CPR Kids sessions aim to answer all your questions and explain any myths you may have heard regarding CPR on babies and children.

Per couple $253.00

Is my registration/ticket transferrable? No

Can I update my registration information? Yes, you can return to the booking page to do so.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No, you don't need to bring your ticket to the event.

What is the refund policy?

A full refund may be given only in the following circumstances:

Premature birth
Hospital admission
Cancellation request 3 weeks before the class commencement date

If less than three weeks' notice, you will incur a fee of $30.00. NO REFUND will be given for cancellation requests less than three days before a class commences. NO REFUND will be given for change of mind after the program has commenced.

Private Health Fund rebates may be available after you've attended this workshop. A certificate is issued on request.
