Sexuality in Neurological Rehabilitation
Event description
Join us for a series of three free webinars celebrating three years since we established our practice. These sessions will explore key topics in rehabilitation and psychosexual therapy, including neurological injury and sexuality, traumatic brain injury, and effective goal setting for psychosocial issues in clinical work.
About
This session provides an overview of how a range of neurological conditions can affect sexuality, such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and stroke. The focus will be on broad patterns, clinical considerations, and supporting clients across different stages of care.
By the end of the webinar, participants will:
Recognise common sexuality-related concerns linked to neurological illness and injury
Understand the interplay between medical, psychological, and social factors
Consider how scope of practice, referral pathways, and collaboration shape intervention
Have the opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A session
