Description

Join exhibiting artist Carolyn Castaño to create do-it-yourself appliqués inspired by the natural world. Using simple sewing and gluing techniques participants will combine found fabrics and iron-on transfers to create fabric masterpieces that celebrate our connection to the earth. Castaño’s work is on view in the exhibition Cumanday – Beautiful Mountain, which explores elements of the Latin American landscape and the artist’s Colombian cultural heritage. Craft Lab is for all ages, everyone is welcome!

Space is limited. Advance tickets are required. All adults and children aged 3 and up must have a ticket to take part in the program.
