Craft Lab Family Workshop: Paper Dolls with Rosalyn Myles
Event description
Join artist Rosalyn Myles to create mixed media paper dolls inspired by personal history and culture. Playing with dolls is one of the earliest ways that we begin to understand race and identity through creativity and imagination. Participants will cut out and join parts of their doll before collaging the surface with old photographs and found images to create a unique character. Visit Kyungmi Shin: Origin Stories to be inspired by Shin’s layered artworks that explore the complex nature of Asian identity by incorporating photography, painterly lines, and symbolism. Craft Lab is for all ages, everyone is welcome!
Space is limited. Advance tickets are required. All adults and children aged 3 and up must have a ticket to take part in the program.
Members should only reserve the number of member tickets that their membership allows. Non-member guests should purchase general admission tickets.
