Description

Led by textile artist Mahdiyyah Muhammad, join a siddi quilt-making circle in the galleries, surrounded by artists who are exploring ancestral relationships to the land. Learn about the ancestral knowledge and storytelling embedded in kawandi patchwork and bring home your own one-of-a-kind quilted square made with upcycled materials. Ages 12+ recommended.

Space is limited. Advance tickets are required. All adults and children aged 7 and up must have a ticket to take part in the program.
