Come and explore mark making, textures, collage and layering. We will play with mixed media supplies to create a rich abstract piece full of texture and contrasts.

We will then use this as a base for an accordion fold journal, which we will hand stitch our signatures (pages) into. The best part is that you can use papers that best suit your needs - mixed media, drawing, journaling or perhaps a mix.

We will be using blunt tapestry needles to stitch together our journals, therefore parental assistance would be required for younger children. Suggested ages are 8 and up.

There is something extra special about recording your musings, experimenting with creativity or expressing thoughts and feelings in a journal that you have created. Perhaps because it is already imbued with your energy...

The experience will also include a short breath awareness session combined with hand mudras to ignite creativity at the beginning and gratitude at the end for investing in the time for ourselves.

This is a small group experience to ensure that I am accessible to everyone during our time together
