About the Host – Penny Craig
Welcome to The Art Clinic a space where creativity, curiosity and connection come together.
I'm Penny, an artist, horticulturalist and creative facilitator based in Berry, on the South Coast of NSW. I believe creativity is something we all have, and that making art is a way we can slow down, explore, connect with ourselves and others.
My workshops are grounded in creative play, hands-on exploration and learning through doing. I draw inspiration from the natural world and love experimenting with unexpected materials, from botanical prints and natural pigments to cyanotype, watercolour, printmaking and putting process over product.
I’ve taught art and creative workshops for children and adults at Art Gallery of NSW, Bundanon, Shoalhaven Regional Gallery, as well as for a range of organisations, public programs and private events.
At The Art Clinic, there’s no pressure to be “good at art”. You don’t need experiencet’, is about giving yourself permission to be curious, make a mess, try something new and enjoy the process.
Whether you’re reconnecting with creativity, looking for a mindful way to spend an afternoon, or simply want to make something with your hands, you’re welcome here.
