Crafting Energy
Event description
Domestic, common household objects and materials can have secondary lives. Where packaging’s purpose is for the protection of products, the production of them is costly, and their use singular. What if these materials can be imagined into creative ways for children to appreciate play, explore recycled items and introduce different renewable energy systems?
We invite you to ‘Crafting Energy’, where we engage with kids through interactive and educational activities highlighting the importance of caring for the environment. This event is for an installation/exhibition and workshop for children between the ages of 2-8 years of age and their carers.
How can we introduce concepts of Ecology, Ethics, and Energy in our young ones to instil a sense of responsibility towards the environment?Â
Immerse yourselves in five captivating zones designed to spark creativity and curiosity. From real images of renewable energy sources to a maze of collected materials explaining sustainable systems, there's something for everyone to discover. Let your little ones unleash their imagination in building a cardboard village, share their thoughts on drawings pinned to the wall, and get hands-on in our crafting workshop, where they'll learn how to repurpose materials for endless fun at home.Â
