Crafting with Nature: Secret Sculptures Workshop at Sydney
Event description
Explore the magic of nature this Winter with this imaginative nature craft workshop in the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney!
This program invites children to stop, listen, and expand their imaginations in nature.
Our experienced Guides will get you looking down and around at the tiny, magical worlds hidden deep within the Garden. What can they see? Maybe we will see mushrooms that look like fairy homes, little bugs in the leaf litter, shapes and patterns in the soil. What can they imagine? Let’s imagine together!
Then we will be crafting a tiny sculpture from earthenware clay and collected nature treasures. These miniature sculptures are designed to be taken and hidden some secret place in nature. A special secret only you know about - which you can go back and visit again and again!
