About The Host

Mark Cunliffe is an award-winning sommelier and has led an impressive career in the Australian and New Zealand wine industries for over 25 years.

“As a passionate, global-thinking New Zealander, the opportunity to work with one of New Zealand’s Grand cru producers was irresistible. The combination of Craggy Range’s single-vineyard and sustainable philosophy along with it’s incredible winemaking credentials firmly satisfies my own passion in terroir – that magical connection between climate, soil, and the human hand.”

Based in Melbourne, Mark continues his love for the outdoors through road and trail running, ocean swimming and Ironman triathlon.
