Description

Craig Thatcher returns to Godfrey Daniels with his Quartet for an evening of guitar-driven music shaped by decades of performance, teaching, and touring. A Martin Guitar ambassador and host of PBS’s Behind the Guitar, Craig blends rock, blues, jazz, and fingerstyle acoustic traditions into a dynamic live show. Joined by Cliff Starkey on keys and vocals, Chico Huff on bass, and Billy Wear on drums, this performance continues a long-standing relationship with the Godfrey Daniels stage that began in the 1980s—bringing deep experience, sharp musicianship, and a wide musical range into the room.

Martin Guitar Ambassadors represent a diverse group of acclaimed musicians who officially endorse and play C.F. Martin & Co. guitars. Prominent ambassadors and users include artists like John Mayer, Eric Clapton, Ed Sheeran, Colbie Caillat, Seth Avett, and Jason Isbell. The program frequently features artists from various genres, including country, rock, and indie folk.
