It’s usually a box with two spindles in it that you CRANK to tell a story!
Join Opal & Iona from Golden Scissor Puppets for 6 workshops across 6 Wednesday evenings and discover the ancient art of the crank! From ancient Japan, to old Hollywood panoramas, the Crank has found a place in the hearts of many, and now we’re bringing it to you, dear freak!
6 weeks of workshops followed by a weekend of absolute crank madness where we’ll watch and hear stories from everyone with a complete crankie!

If you’re not in Naarm, we’re accepting cranks from anywhere around the world! You’ve got 6 weeks to get them in our hands before the big final event, Pop the scroll in the post and we’ll find the perfect box for it to be displayed at CRANKIE FEST!
