60+ and still up for adventure?
Join Crazy Old Boys Adventures (COBA) for a relaxed cycling adventure along Auckland's beautiful eastern coastline.
This is our first COBA adventure, created for men aged 60 and over who enjoy getting outdoors, exploring new places and sharing good experiences with other blokes.
We'll ride approximately 23 to 24 km, taking in coastal views, stopping at a café for coffee and a bite to eat, then continuing our loop through Glen Innes before returning to Ōrākei.
It's not a race or a fitness challenge.
It's about enjoying the ride, having a few laughs and meeting other men who still have plenty of adventures ahead of them.
Come on your own or bring a mate. Either way, you'll be welcome.

Meeting point: Bionic Electric Bikes, 244 Ōrākei Road, Auckland
Distance: Approximately 23 to 24 km
Route: Eastern Bays Coastal Loop
Group size: 6 to 10 men aged 60+
Pace: Relaxed, social cycling
Café stop: Along the coastal section
Ticket options
Bring Your Own Bike: $55
Includes the hosted adventure, route guidance and group coordination. Bring a suitable, roadworthy bicycle.
E-Bike Hire Included: $115
Includes the hosted adventure plus four-hour e-bike rental, helmet, lock and rental insurance.
Café food and drinks are at your own expense.
Who can join?
Men aged 60 and over who are confident riding a bicycle and comfortable completing approximately 23 to 24 km at a relaxed pace.
You don't need to be exceptionally fit or an experienced cyclist. Electric assistance is available for participants choosing the e-bike option.
Important information
Please bring comfortable clothing, enclosed shoes, water, sunscreen and a light jacket.
The adventure requires at least six paying participants to proceed.
If COBA cancels the event, participants will receive a full refund. If COBA postpones the event, participants can transfer their booking to the new date or request a full refund.
Participant cancellations are subject to the event's published refund policy.
