CR8iVE

A Regional Liveability Forum

Where Ideas, Culture & Business unite to shape whats next

A strong and vibrant creative industries sector, coupled with a healthy and dynamic visitor economy, is central to liveability in the Northern Rivers.

When our region offers cultural vibrancy, authentic experiences and an enviable lifestyle, we retain and attract the skills and talent needed for our current and future workforce.

In this way, investment in creativity and the visitor economy is not just cultural policy, it is economic policy, delivering long term benefits for all business and industry sectors and the broader community.

Creative industries and the visitor economy are not side sectors, they are liveability assets, cultural amplifiers and workforce and industry enablers.

CR8iVE is where creativity and the visitor economy meet to shape the Region’s future. This is not just a conversation for artists and tourism operators, it’s a forum for every business leader who wants to understand how the cultural vibrancy, liveability and talent attraction directly impact their bottom line.

Why we think bringing these sectors together is a great idea?

Liveability is a workforce advantage

A vibrant cultural scene and strong visitor economy keeps skilled people here, and attracts more.

Catalyst for Innovation & Growth

From digital design to storytelling, the creative industries drive fresh thinking across sectors.

Local producers, services and investment all benefit when the region is buzzing.
