Event description

OPEN CANVAS:

A 2 hour session to come and play with acrylic paints and create whatever you want. You will have a choice to work on just one canvas or multiple. There are no direct themes on what you can and cannot paint. You can create abstract pieces or attempt to make a realistic painting. It’s up to you. 

Just like the other Create & Connect session, this is a space for you to create for the sake of creating. Use it to play around with self expression and connect with your creative side and fill up your cup.

No need to have artistic experiences or do you have to create a masterpiece. This is a playground for your creative side! I will be there to guide you or support you throughout it.

WHAT IS CREATE & CONNECT:

I've created a space where you can create for the sake of creating and allowing you to tap into your creative side & play! No agenda for it to be some masterpiece or up-skill, just a space to gather, experiment, express and play.

We live in a world that doesn’t give us permission/opportunities to experiment and stay playful with our creative side (especially as adults) unless we crave the time and space to do so, which can be challenging for most people due to capitalism. This is where the creation of Create & Connect was inspired by where we can gather, experiment, express and play with our creative side without the hassle of it being some capitalist gain! It's something we can just enjoy and do to fill up our cups.  

WHO IS IT FOR: 

Create and Connect is great for: 

  • Folks who are craving a space to get artsy and create with no commitment to buying any materials. 

  • Someone quiet, maybe a little bit introverted, who loves an afternoon of arts & crafts 

  • Anyone who hasn't picked up a paintbrush or pencil in a long time and is craving that familiarity

  • Creatives who are paralysed by perfectionism can't make 'bad art'. Come and make it here & play!! 

  • Anyone who is yearning for a space to connect with other creatives

  • If anyone wants to fill up their inner cup and connect with their Inner Child.


The cost of the workshop will cover the materials, snacks and drinks for the day.
