Create with Clay on Thursdays for Adults (March)
Event description
Feeling creative? Come to Wild Learning on Thursday afternoons for a mini course and learn how to work with air drying clay!
Air drying clay is the perfect product to use for home pottery projects - it's easy to work with and requires no special equipment or tools and dries without needing to be fired.
In this mini course you will learn different techniques for working with clay and you will get to create:
- AÂ charming clay noughts and crosses game (you choose the theme- maybe cats & dogs? avocados & toasts? birds &Â bees?)
- A little pot with three legs and a texture design that is so satisfying to create.Â
This class is a warmly supportive social group - so if you are feeling nervous about starting a new hobby, or want a soft landing in your week to just soak up some creativity and positivity... this is the class for you!
Please bring:
- wear clothing that you can make a bit of a mess in! (aprons are available)
- if you have dry or sensitive skin, moisturiser or hand cream is a good idea for after you wash the clay off.Â
Suitable for:
- Beginners and people who have tried clays but feel limited by knowledge or confidence
- Adults and high school students
Taught by:Â Â Claire and Emmie
