***No experience or ideas needed: just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm.***
Starting a startup is a great way to make an outsized impact: you could develop a product or service that could change industries, improve lives, or move us to a more sustainable future.
How do you know if this might be the path for you? Create your first startup idea is a good place to start!
In this 45 minute workshop, you’ll:
- Develop eight (!) ideas designed to solve real-world problems.
- Meet other students and friendly startup coaches.
- Find out about startups, Founders programs like the Peter Farrell Cup, and other opportunities for changemakers on campus.
NOTE: This is a special UNSW O-Week Workshop! Designed for rapid, fun activities for UNSW students as such this is not open to general public.
What is UNSW Founders?
As Australia’s leading university-based entrepreneurial program, UNSW Founders has a proven track record of success. Since its inception in 2018, the program has supported 1,000+ startups, provided entrepreneurial skills training to 20,000+ individuals, provided over 9,000 coaching and mentoring sessions, and incubated (co-located) 70+ startups on campus to foster collaboration with the UNSW business, industry, academic, and research networks.
